Ingredients: Pork chops/steaks or chicken breasts
Jar of Sweet & Sour sauce
Rice
Lots of salad
Grill, barbecue or somehow cook (using a frying pan if you haven't got a grill) the pork or chicken.

Put the rice on to boil so it is ready at the same time. Adding turmeric gives colour.

Heat up the sweet and sour sauce (the one with extra pineapple is good).

In the meantime, make up a salad: lettuce, radish, grated carrot, tomato, onion, spring onion, cucumber, peppers (if you're in France - bagged stuff from supermarket makes this so easy).

Bread (especially if you're in France) or bags of mini-poppadums/prawn crackers on the side.

You know it is done when the meat goes "brown" and the rice/sweet and sour starts bubbling.

Serve up and enjoy with a glass or two of wine!
