[Munchies] Spinach Bread Dip

Ingredients: 1 pkg. Frozen spinach, thawed and chopped
225ml mayonnaise
225ml sour cream
1 pkg. Knorr Leek soup mix
1 can water chestnuts, drained and
chopped
1 large round pumpernickel loaf
or any heavy rye bread


  • Cut hole in top of bread and scoop out insides, reserving chunks.
  • Combine remaining ingredients and fill bread.
  • Cut remaining bread into bite size pieces.
Serves: 10+

This recipe is rather lacking in detail.

Should the Knorr soup mix be made up with water? Should it be brought to the boil and then simmered?

Should any of the other ingredients be cooked, or is the spinach eaten raw?

Perhaps an addendum to the Final Instructions might be appropriate!

The soup mix is used to flavour the mayonnaise/sour cream mix as this is a dip, so it's added as per description.

Spinach would normally be raw as well.
