Well it is the same here, we should only talk to Race Control. However, Flag points can and do request direct communications with other points to sort out a local problem...usually granted by Race Control if it is convenient.
and, every now and then protocol is dispensed with (sometimes without penalty from Head Office
) when one Flag Point will quickly suggest what needs to be done by others. For example, to alert a point ..."Stationary Yellow 4"
