I think it's series of fancy sports sedans, with spec cars. Nationwide motor apparently, so plenty of hp. (actually they only have 480 hp - darn restrictors and long life engine rules, but they still sound a sight better than DTM though).
Choice of 408 or Vectra body style. No Ford though..
Seems like the styling wasn't always so sleek, the cars used to be quite boxy (check out the old Bora style or the Lancer - yuck), so good looking race cars are an evolutionary process after all maybe?
And Maxy Wilson looks happy in victory lane, finally free of Craig Gore rustbuckets...
