Herbie Clips was definitely around- it had appeared as a sponsor on occasional rally Rovers in '83/84, and did show up as a sponsor on a BTCC entry in '85- Soper's Metro Turbo one-off at the Silverstone season-opener was backed by Howley Engines, Silver Shield Windscreens and Herbie Clips
