axeman, while you have never used the words exactaly
the moment you said" i want to shut the pits during SC's" you also said i want bathurst to be more predicatble and less strategic.
the two go hand in hand. it the cost of achieving the first.
also, closing the pits would mean more safety cars, so that will effect the race even more
That being said closing the pits during SC's is a safety issue only, it wont help the race in any way and as such is irrelevant to this thread
