I did hear a very brief mention of that fact on radio or telly! In fact, she was the FIRST UK Astronaut, full stop. Also in a Soyuz, according to what I've read....
I did my time on the petrol pumps when an acne pimpled apprentice. Think it was 8 gallons for a quid then.
