I'm thinking Pirelli might be worse but they get to heat the tires before mounting them. The cold temps, while not unexpected, have killed these tires. And I'm thinking some GTD teams are running slightly lower pressures than recommended to get the grip they want and so it's a little of both adding up.

Sorry but we've been in COLD rain at Petit as well so it's not one event only. And Conti could do something with their trucks to warm the tires, not as easy as tires tents but something. Plus how many of these teams use heaters in the garage for the crews?? And having a seemingly VERY hard rain tire is killing them, think it's one compound for the year with the rains but softening it a bit might be needed.

GT on to slicks now too, and slicks on prototype pit walls.
