VM Mortori which is owned by Fiat. Lots of reports of heavy oil use on pre 16 ones. Apparently fixed now with a larger sump and shorter dipstick.....
Auto is the same 6 speed used in the V8 VF Commodore.
Dmax uses the same 3L out of their NPR truck range. Noisy and agricultural, but has a B10 rating, meaning it will do 500,000km before requiring major work.
Auto is the Toyota owned Aisin 6 speed. Used in Prado, Hilux and V8 petrol cruiser.
Other than front sheet metal, suspension tuning, some electronics and trims. The rest is identical.
