The development and evolution of the Supercar from 1992 to present day mirrors to some degree the development and evolution of the stock car from the 1950's to the 1980's.
I can highly recommend Dr John Craft's book on the topic of Stock Car development.
I'd love to see a similar book on Supercars but guess the market for Supercar books is more geared towards picture books than narrative and analysis.
