Yes. John Quick was a neigbour at the time. A few other names to toss into the list:

Reg Gubbins (an Essex scrap dealer) raced a special saloon mini
Ken Costello, a garage owner and tuner from Sidcup, who also raced a special saloon mini
Spotty Muldoon (not his real name) who raced a white Ford Anglia covered with black spots.
