They abbandoned the pull rods(like Mclaren did years ago) because the car was difficult to handle when driving over the curbs, you could see the problem best at Spa last year(Bus Stop) and at every other circuit with slow chicanes with high curbs. The rods where shaking around like rubber band and the drivers urged the team to go back to push rods, also the car was more difficult to setup.
But like I said: Mclaren had already tried it in the past(can't remember what year though), and probably Minardi will see that it won't work this season.
