There are so many contributing factors as to why some do and some don't make it to the very top.
Ten years ago I felt the situation was such that there was no sound commercial reason to have another Australasian driver in F1.
In a sport that seldom offers second chances, it is terrific to see Brendon secure a seat on merit.
