Good starting point and im shure you will have alot of fun but im just thinking you might want to have a play with the suspension next.
I had a 1.2 corsa b just with vauxhall nova lowered springs and it sharpens it up alot but by no means perfect. Im shure you was thinking of doing this anyways thoe.
