truth shoul be in the middle. I know an engineer who worked for reiter and he told me that GM hadn't any role in the production of car (I mean the camaro gt3), indeed the engine isn't even supplied by GM but by katech. If you tell me this, I guess that GM gave the approval but didn't give any support.
So far, callaway is the official corvette GT3 tuner, licensed and somehow supported by GM itself. I just think that if GM will enter in the european GT3 market, is very unlikely they will keep on supporting callaway! they just will focus on selling the cadillac to customers. Callaway will get the approval from GM to produce the C7 GT3, but won't be the official tuner anymore.
Anyway this is just my opinion, it can be that GM will sell the cadillac on their own, still supporting callaway... more or less like VW has done for years with R8/gallardo.
