Not sure the time of year is the problem for PWC.
Its also funny how Sprint X has the bigger grid of GT3's/GT Cups...
Would suggest there is little wrong with that format for participants.
I think the main thing that would help PWC is pick one concept or the other.
Alternatively, run as a fully Sprint or Sprint X format, but have 2 or so endurance races, including the California 8h (as a non points scoring round)
