It doesn,t look like the M535 had a very extensive competition life . The homologation only runs to 14 pages , with no new options being added after 1981, and although it was transferred into Gp B , there seems to be no further factory involvement after that .
The M3 has 129 Homologation pages with options being added from 1987 right up to 1993 .
Someone said that one car was on carbs , I think I remember from appendix J regs of the time that fitting carbs in place of injection was fully allowed in Gp 2, so would be period correct .
