I believe the lame part comes from the fact that Toyota have hacked up the track and made it into a test track with no potential for fan support. It was once great - but how can it be great if you cannot go along as an average joe and enjoy the sport.
It may provide a good race, I don't know, but since only 2000 people can go - it all seems a bit lame.
