In the current situation, yes it might bring this forum back alive. With few exceptions, forum has been a bit down for weeks.
The problem was originally that folks uploaded tons of photos in their original size to the original message and some minority even aggressively promoted their services or portfolio.
And when you try to draw a line, there's always a risk that somebody with common sense and non-commercial intentions misunderstands the message and feels his/her pics are not welcome. Though the purpose was only to limit the amount of teaser pics to four and ask to provide a link to the rest.
