theres more to it than that, you could be compairing the Viscosity (i.e 20/50 10/40 etc) API classification, oil type, i.e mineral , semi syn, fully syn, recomended operating temperature ranges, detergent/ non detergent

whats an FR2000?
would it not be simpler to look up and see what the different oil companies recomend for that application? differences in oils might mean that in one brand a 5/40 is most suitable but another brand 10/40 might work better
