I do believe alot of these problems happen because of CART inability to deal with problems. If in the past bone head moves were rewarded with stiffer penalties people may think twice. I wonder if Mario would have tried to pass Carpentier if he new that he may have to sit out a race for being 2 or 3 laps down and crashing a second place man. The sad thing was, he would have never made the corner anyway. He is as you say the moron of the race in my books.
