I appear to caught the sun after a day at Silverstone.
Lots of pictures to sort out including a couple of 'moments' at Copse.
Chatting to a couple of the drivers at the back of the queue at the start when the officials came along with assorted measuring implements checking the 'distance from pedals to back axle' or some such, and were a little perplexed by the mid-engine configuration of the Ferrari.
Jen Lees wandering around with a large wooden suitcase, that she would endeavour to fit into each and every car, also proved a clue as to how the final result is decided, although where on the Thunderbug any luggage would fit is a complete mystery.
The true secret of the Pom is simply to enjoy the cars (enormous variety), the company (universally good natured), the 'racing' (invariably exciting), and the atmosphere (unique). The winner? Quite frankly I doubt many of us would consider touring the continent with it a sound idea whatever it is
