Yesterday I went along to the Motorclassica concours which was appropriately held at the world heritage listed Royal Exhibition Building at Carlton just north of the city. The cars entered in the concours are listed here -
http://www.motorclassica.com.au/concours-entrants.
This is one of the poster cars for the event, a M-B 540K originally owned by Heinkel.
Highlights included about 8 WO Bentleys, a couple of Delages, a few very nice Lancias (Lambda ser 7, Astura conv, Flaminia GT, Aurelia B24), and three of the first four RHD Porsches built.
Personal favourites included this Tucker Torpedo recently brought into the country, I had not expected to ever see one of these in the flesh.
... and this McLaren F1, no more needs to be said really!
Unfortunately my camera battery didn't last long enough so I can't share a lot of the cars, but there are some more pictures
