A 22% drop in overall viewers is not something to be proud of, especially when you consider that more people around the world spent greater amounts of time watching the box and/or online because of the pandemic.
I would imagine that UK's viewing figures dropped since only the British GP was shown live on free to air TV, otherwise it was behind a paywall or just a highlights programme later in the day.
