I'm a little surprised the baub has not yet commented on Horlicks moments ... but then given the time of day he has probably already enjoyed a mug of H and nodded off for a refreshing sleep.

Mike's offering of "Malted Milk" is sort of sound as a description of the taste (as I recall. It has been some decades since I last tried any. Or indeed first tried any. I suspect the two events were concurrent.) but if you are, perhaps, an aficionado of American Blues music "Malted Milk" has a somewhat different connotation connected to the days of Speakeasys during the alcohol Prohibition era. The Malt referred to would have passed through a few additional processes before being included in the milky beverage.
Personally I think the latter would be more enjoyable but the former likely more healthy.
