I also noticed this.
http://www.akrapovic.com/ promotes that they are an Audi Sport partner and that Audi won the 24 hours of Le Mans in 2010 and 2011 with an Akropovic exhaust system.
The R10 and R15 used a particulate filter from Dow Automotive Systems. I assume that the R18 does as well. However, since last year Dow is no longer mentioned as a partner/sponsor.
