I think that DC's future is tied more to Hakki's performance than his own. Ron has been smart in ensuring that his winning combination of designer and drivers has remained stable through their period of success. He hasn't been tempted to mess with a good combination that bought them up to equal dominance with Ferrari.

If Mika fails this year to be competitive, with the assumption that DC will remain an effective number 2 driver, Ron will pull out all stops to recreate a winning formula. That will include dumping DC.
