Around 1977, 1978, there were quite a lot of Dutch drivers with potential. Rothengatter (now Jos’ manager) was working his way up and eventually drove F2 and F1 after that. Lammers became European F3 champion and went on in F1. Arie Luyendijk wisely decided that to much Dutch talent around in Europe was not going to help him and went to the US. Not a bad decision, considering he won the Indy 500 twice. Could be a good thing for Jos to do too.
