You may have to eat your hat yet my friend, believe me we have had a lot of "off" and they don't look like tripping over, least so far.

There is one consistent message coming from all the people that have driven them in anger so far, and that is how well they handle considering what they are.

We will have at least 22 on the grid at Taupo, possibly as high as 25. We have 3 girls locked in already and are talking seriously to another two, likely lass's. The average age of the drivers is 20, however with a couple of much older guys we expect to commit in the next couple of weeks its probably going to rise to an average age of about 23.

The SRS Actyon Sport Ute's are never going to "wow" anybody with their speed however, we have seen times drop from 2.10 at Taupo 3 months ago, by nearly 10 seconds, so we expect to see the fastest ute's running at just under 2 minutes if we get some sunshine on the weekend of the 27th September next.

The old adage is "don't knock it unless you have tried it" holds true for these unlikely race vehicles.
