yeah sorry misread post, well in that case try Falken, or the Toyo road tyre, both good and good value and yes shaving will make them last a lot longer as the blocks of tread don't skirm around and overheat. I remember going to a track day once and a brand new Noble I was having a dice with on a concrete airfield venue me on shaved Falkens him on whatever they came with from the factory and after the session his were all chunked up and screwed and mine were perfect.
