Didnt know that this had been discussed before, sorry, and it doesn't really affect me but in the spirit of using the forum more I thought I'd bring it up!
Not sure why Dunlop have a position of almost monopoly in the historic racing world, and if they are struggling to meet the needs of the sport then perhaps it's time to look for alternative suppliers. I know that the Clubmans Register approached Hancook and they now produce suitable alternatives.
