I think the military displays were mainly about the participants having fun...
fascinating spelling in some of the German signage
"Eintracht Verboten !"
translates to "Unity forbitten"
they were aiming for
"Eintritt verboten"
which means "dont enter !"
on the other hand
the vehicles had some very informative placards displayed
learned a lot - about the German ones...
