I'm not sure what forum to be putting this in but after much thought I thought it would be better off here than in trackside...
As a member of my family works at the Goodwood Motor Circuit I can tell you all the Festival will be celebrating 100 years of Mercedes and the display (this year some hanging Jags) is hoped to be a Merc on top of a water feature of some kind, but it is still very much an idea as they're not sure it would be safe enough. The theme will be "The Will to Win". (Champions and Challengers in 2000)
No news on the revival just yet except that there will be a new race for race prototypes of the period (e.g. GT40s).
