Badoer makes great sense for both Ferrari and Sauber. He's a talented driver who never got the chances he deserved - he must find it especially galling that Barrichello, who he raced against at the F3000 sharp end - is getting the benefit of his hard work.
His testing skill is among the very best, so he can help Sauber with setups at each race, especially as he knows the nucleus of the car, and it will give Bridgestone much mroe testing data - Michelin's advantage of haaving so many teams in the testing will be clearest t the new tracks, and may negate some of Bridgestone's legendary wet-weather prowess.
