Sorry by shops do you mean workshops/factories?
If so that's not entirely true. Yeah there's the mandatory two week shut down (which a lot of guys spend working on the wind tunnel and other systems that can be classed as 'maintenance'). But this is the time of the year that a lot of guys are under pressure in the factory due to a combination of new car build for the next year beginning and reprep of two lots of components after the Germany/Hungary back to back. There is always something to do!
