When SFW saw
his team, in the hands of Wolf, was capable to winning races with Scheckter, he was very aware about what to do. The WR1 is, truly, a Williams car, developed by Frank Williams Racing Cars the previous year 1976, and also derived from the 1975 Hesketh 308 (they were both developed by Harvey Postlethwaite, no more no less). Fact is, that Wolf owned Williams team by the time, then sir Frank couldn't have the credit then.
