This seems to run counter to what at least one person believes; that the rear wheel drive cars, especially one driven by a past multiple BTCC champion, have a distinct advantage over their FWD competitors. Possibly, if they didn't have that advantage, more than 7 FWD cars would have qualified in front of the 1st BMW of Turkington.
