Calder is in an area that cannot be zoned residental due to being under flight path of the proposed 2nd East-West runway for the Melbourne Airport.
It's also the only track I know which doesn't have noise restrictions, this dates back to the Thunderdome & Drags Nationals era but I believe is still current.
