Willie and I have been pals since the '50s, as he reminded me five or so years ago. We used to race boats before we were old enough to drive cars.
He was VERY puh-issed off at Goodwood purely because he knows where the limit is.
If you have SPOKEN to him since, Ghinzani, and he told you otherwise, then I'm wrong - but he was furious, believe me.
Oh and watch out who you call a liar. I've never met Marcus Pye, but I'll bet my bottle of Scotch against your bar of soap that he's an honest journalist.
You want to race historic saloons? Ever even tried? - you just have to give up a few things you thought were essential, concentrate on the object of your desire, scrape, scrounge, get the car together and then prove your talent.
