Er yes, that's because of the high degree of accuracy..... GPL isn't an arcade game - it's a
racing sim.
And chunder, yes of course the original graphics on GPL were pants, this is a 12 year old (?) sim. But if you looked at it on my screen with masses and masses of graphical and other add-ons, I think you'd be surprised..... But if people are content with the level of challenge provided by such as rFactor, then GPL is a probably a step too far......
