Presumably the team does not have the budget to supply a fresh chassis to Mr Courtney, so he will required to demonstrate his wares in the crashed and repaired unit.

If the team retains an in-house fabrication crew, and therefore labour is already paid for in the team budget, isnt the major cost of knocking up a new chassis the pipes & bars from Pace? Pinch all the other bolt on/weld on gear from the former VF chassis and you have a new chassis for what, sub $50k?
