Yeah, the clips I saw showed cars coming on the scene at speed, locked up, sliding, sideways and two were driven through the wrecks by cars hitting them. Hindy pointed out there is no flag stand from the bottom of the hill until after the wreck, over the crest so they were approaching it blind at a high speed section.
Wonder if we will see a change in the future there? Although there really isn't much room trackside for most of that stretch.
