clickbait headline, but there was an agreement before the race that the lead car at the last pitstop would be the one ahead at the finish. They didn't want to run a risk of racing the two at the end of the race. Securing a 1-2 is above any type of intra-team battle for the crowd. The #7 had a longer stop because it changed a nose.
I'm sure that won't stop the conspirators from saying it was fixed for Alonso. But I can't fathom they wanted to sabotage the #7 from the get go and have it start a lap behind. There was no guarantee it would even get it's lap back, let alone finish 2nd.
