Not sure if I'm happy about that. Those digital alarm clock displays can really detract from the visual appeal of the cars. It's also really annoying when an otherwise good photograph is marred by those obnoxious displays brightly announcing that your favorite car was running 17th when you snapped the photo.
Hopefully the series goes with the more discrete Blancpain style position panels in the windscreen. That would be somewhat tolerable.

I still remember the old days when I had to beg friends with cable TV to record ALMS races on VCR for me. Good Times!
