Especially the lack of info coming from Indycar through the official channels was (and is) appalling.

Sure be frustrated, but from your first post in this thread, I've been frustrated with your comments; they have come off extremely selfish, imho.
Perhaps Indycar could've done better, but judging mother nature, dealing with tv contracts, track availability, their own schedule, etc., they made a decision a decent enough time for me. Sorry it didn't work for you.
