To me it was a classic F1 race.
Out front two drivers absolutely on the limit at speeds that were a revelation even for Spa, closely matched on both talent and equipment. The safety car was legit but probably stayed out on lap too many. Neither made an error but the pressure was there all the time.
Further back in the field you had Riciardo"s brilliant restart, Kimi's fight back from his marginally deserved penalty, some midfield passing and jostling and even an appearance by the clowns in pink.
Tense, built to a climax and a demonstration of skill and a good mix of technical approaches gining advantages in different parts of the wonderful Spa challenge.
Yes it's a matter of 'druthers".
