After a dramatic crash in the 2015 Indy 500, Hinchcliffe returned with a pole at the rectangular oval, and claimed three podiums and eight top 10s. However, he also had several poor performances, and finished 13th in the standings. Schmidt teammate Aleshin finished second at Pocono, and got two 5ths and a 6th, but no other top 10s.

Bourdais was the worst Chevy driver, finishing 14th i the standings. He got a win, two 5ths and eleven top 10s. It's not too bad, but the four time Champ Car deserves better. Let's see if Dale Coyne lets him shine bright again.

Daly finished 18th, which doesn't sound great. But he got a 2nd place, a 4th and three 6ths, which is good enough for a rookie driver at Coyne Honda. If he stays, Bourdais could help him improve.

Sato claimed a 5th, two 6ths and five top 10s. Also, had had just three DNFs at the big ovals, and none at road / street courses. With his long rap sheet, nobody would expect more, but technically he didn't disappoint either.

It's hard to describe Hawksworth's season in words. In his third IndyCar season, he got no top 10s, and just four top 15s. Even RC Enerson, who is 19 years old and has just one Indy Lights win, got a 9th finish with a Coyne Honda.
