I also presently have a BT10 that has no numbers. This car was believed to be a BT16 when owned by Rafael Costa. I purchased car and realized it as a BT10. The car was purchased out of the Franklin Institute (Philadelphia Transportation museum) by Ian Carpenter who sold it to Costa. and it included a SCCA log book back to 1972 driven by F. Nelson Petrey. Raced at Lime Rock, Bryar, Watkins Glen. Car was red with NEPE written on the side, ran FC w/ Cosworth SCA. Petrey purchased from Harry C. Kahn in 1972.
So:
Kahn to Petrey to Franklin Inst. to Carpenter to Costa to Irwin.
Any help in identifying this car would be greatly appreciated.
