I'd love to know the story behind this..... Bearing in mind the problems MIL were having in making the car work on the circuits, taking time out to run a one-off rally entry seems an odd course of action- especially as the Manx meant taking on tougher-than-usual opposition for a UK event, with a number of top-class Cosworth/M3/Integrale-equipped European visitors in at the head of the entry list. Did the impetus for this come from the team, Middleton, a sponsor or Toyota- and why....?
