If BMW are really interested in Japanese market the gt 500 category is the way to go.
I think the solution for the future of GT 500 will be the introduction of hybrid technology IMO. If thats the way Toyota, Nissan and Honda will go, BMW could find i way with is I8 Hybrid GT 500.
That should be an amazing car :-)
